Chapter 12. Calendaring

The Event and Eventmember tables enable to build calendaring or scheduling applications that share all the regular features of Midgard data handling. See Figure 12-1

People can be members of several simultaneous or overlapping Events. The busy field, when set to "1", prevents any member of an Event from being a member of an overlapping Event.

Events can be sorted by start time, end time, and title.

The count and period fields in an Eventmember record are used to set reminders. As of this writing you'll need to set up PHP CGI scripts to get them to work. These scripts are in CVS under midgard/proposals/reminders1.4/.
